They were Lord Irvine of Lairg (Lord Chancellor), Lord Slynn of Hadley, Lord Hope of Craighead,
Lord Clyde and Lord Hutton. Of these, Slynn and Hope dismissed the appeal (i.e. judged against Lloyd
and Jones), and the other three upheld it.
